Terlizzi has wonderful restaurants that serve excellent food at VERY reasonable prices. It is an ancient town with a Norman and Swabian past. The clock tower dates to the 12th century. The church of Santa Maria di Cesano, just a half mile from the Villa, was built in 1055 AD.

The port town of Giovinazzo

Just 12 kilometers away is the jewel of a town, Giovinazzo, on the Adriatic. It features the most romantic tiny fishing port and some spectacular medieval architecture.

Polignano A Mare

Polignano a Mare, just 10 minutes away from the Villa, is a sight to behold. It sits on a rocky promontory that juts into the sea.

Bari, the capital of Puglia, boasts the remains of St. Nicholas (yes, Santa Claus) among many other gems.

Castel Del Monte
